Ingredients

1–2 jalapeño slices
2 teaspoons sugar
2 ounces tequila reposado
2 ounces fresh pink grapefruit juice
1 ounce fresh lime juice
Grapefruit slice (for serving)

Preparation

  1. Muddle jalapeño and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Add tequila, grapefruit juice, and lime juice; fill shaker with ice. Shake until outside of shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with grapefruit slice.
