Recipe information

  • Yield

    Serves 1.

Ingredients

Maraschino cherry or ripe olive
1/2 ounce grenadine (approx.)
1 1/2 to 2 ounces sloe gin
3/4 to 1 ounce gin
3 or 4 ice cubes
Twist orange peel

Preparation

  1. Drop the cherry or olive into a cocktail glass and pour enough grenadine over it to cover. Combine the gins in a cocktail shaker with the ice and shake vigorously, then strain into the cocktail glass, pouring very carefully so that the gins do not mix with the grenadine. Twist the orange peel over the drink to release the oil before dropping the peel in.
