Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces light rum
1/2 ounce curaçao
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
Dash grenadine
3 or 4 ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass. Alternatively, pineapple juice may be used instead of dry vermouth. Or omit the curaçao and grenadine, use 3/4 ounce dry vermouth and add a dash of Angostura bitters.
