Minted Grapefruit Cooler

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 1/2 cups ginger ale
4 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
4 mint sprigs, or to taste

Preparation

  1. In a pitcher combine the grapefruit juice and the lemon juice and stir in the ginger ale. Into each of 4 tall glasses spoon 1 teaspoon of the sugar and add 1 of the mint sprigs. With the back of the spoon press the sugar into the mint until the mint gives off a fragrance. Fill the glasses with ice cubes and divide the grapefruit mixture among them.
