Ingredients

9 oz white rum (1 cup plus 2 tablespoons)
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons grenadine
4 1/2 tablespoons superfine granulated sugar
Garnish: lime slices

Preparation

  1. Stir together all ingredients in a pitcher until sugar is dissolved, then add about 2 cups ice cubes and stir until very cold. Pour daiquiris through a sieve into Martini glasses.
