Sangria Blanca

White Sangria is something you really want in the summertime when nothing is going on and it’s hot and very humid outside. We developed this recipe about six years ago and have loved it ever since. Highly suggested for afternoon gatherings and finger foods.

Ingredients

1 (750 ml) bottle Portuguese Vinho Verde
3/4 cup simple syrup (page 154)
3/4 cup Massenez crème de pêche
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup seeded and cubed cantaloupe
1 cup sliced peaches
1 cup green grapes, halved
1 cup red grapes, halved

Preparation

  1. Combine the wine, syrup, crème de pêche, and juice in a large bowl until well mixed. Add the fruits and refrigerate overnight. Serve from pitchers filled with lots of ice.
