Recipe information

  • Yield

    Makes 1 loaf

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and flour 9x5-inch loaf pan. Using electric mixer, beat sugar, eggs and butter in large bowl until well blended. Beat in milk. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Add to butter mixture and beat just until blended.

    Step 2

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until golden brown and tester inserted into center of bread comes out clean, about 1 hour. Transfer pan to rack and cool 10 minutes.
